tea ceremony

I wish to unravel the way tea leaves do
bathe me in the warmth of the universe
sun whispers and atoms returning to form
until the scabs picked at become soft
and at a gentle suggestion start bleeding
and even gentler coax the tyranny from the eyes
with time the skin softens and peels
and small parts of the body abandon
we are open now we are floating
we are vulnerable, delicate, relaxed
do we spill into the water or does it spill into us?
